Pigeon Peristaltic Nipples were developed through collaborative research with pediatricians and support natural sucking by following the three key factors of babies' sucking: attachment, peristaltic tongue movement and swallowing. All Pigeon Nipples come with the Air Ventilation System (AVS™), which adjusts the air pressure inside the bottle and to control the milk flow.

The SS (Super Slow) nipple was created to help maintain the appropriate flow of milk for breastfed babies - it takes on average 12 minutes to drink 2oz without pacing the feed. The nipples are imported directly from Pigeon with a certificate of authencity.
